Christine Safstrom - New Owner & Director

Christine Safstrom brings over 20 years of dance studio ownership and teaching experience, having proudly co-owned and operated a studio in Upton with her late mother. Her dance training began locally and continued at Dean Junior College and Framingham State College, with ongoing education in New York City at renowned conventions and workshops. She has had the privilege of studying under world-class artists such as Mia Michaels, Brian Friedman, Tyce Diorio, WadeRobson, Nappytabs, Savion Glover, and the late Stephen "tWitch" Boss.With a deep commitment to children's growth, Christine has also studied child development and psychology - ensuring her teaching approach nurtures not only strong dancers, but strong, confident young people. Building meaningful relationships and fostering a sense of belonging are at the heart of her values.It has long been Christine's dream to carry on her mother's legacy of love, artistry, and community.She is beyond grateful for the opportunity to join the Mass Best family and is excited to focus on the future - creating a welcoming space where every child knows they matter, they belong, and they are celebrated. To Christine, dance is more than movement - it is connection, confidence, and joy that will last a lifetime.
